Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled certified santoor trainer to join our team in Ghaziabad. As a certified santoor trainer at Guitar Artist Man, you will teach santoor to students ranging from complete beginners to intermediate players.

You will work with a structured curriculum provided by us, but also have the freedom to incorporate your teaching style. Our students range from kids (age 6+) to adults and working professionals looking to learn santoor.

This position offers flexibility — you choose your available hours, and we match you with santoor students in the Ghaziabad area.

🏢 Studio Classes

  • Teach at our nearest studio/center in Ghaziabad
  • Batch size: 1–4 students per batch
  • Schedule: Weekdays 11 AM – 9 PM, Weekends 10 AM – 5 PM
  • Santoor provided by academy for students
  • Structured curriculum & lesson plans provided
  • Pay: ₹300–500/hour

🏠 Home Classes

  • Visit student's home in Ghaziabad area
  • One-to-one private santoor training
  • Flexible timing as per student's schedule
  • Own santoor required for demonstration
  • Own transportation needed
  • Pay: ₹500–800/class (higher rate)

📋 Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of santoor playing experience
  • At least 1 year of teaching/tutoring experience (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of santoor techniques and theory
  • Patient, punctual, and good communicator
  • Own transportation for home visit classes
  • Available for minimum 3 hours/day
  • Comfortable teaching in Hindi and/or English

🎯 Skills Required

Mallet technique, String tuning, Raga knowledge, Taal patterns, Classical compositions, Light music adaptation, Performance presentation, Instrument care
